MEET THE INNOVATIVE THERAPY TEAM

Kristin has been a physical therapist since 2002, beginning in a fast-paced private practice, gaining additional experience as a traveling PT in a large variety of settings, coming back to the UP as the Rehabilitation Manager of Bell Hospital, and finally finding home with starting a partnership with Dave Aro and Wendi Thomas as Superior Rehabilitation and Professional Services where she has been since 2012.  These experiences allowed her to hone a keen business sense and a strong vision for product development, innovation, and a strong clinical mindset. She sees patient-centered and patient-directed care as the most effective way to generate change in the medical field.  Kristin has been a Sports Certified Specialist, one of only two in the region, and has treated all manner of athletes from professional, high school, college, senior, and weekend warriors.  She is a Certified Kinesiotape Practitioner and is also trained in Postural Restoration Institute methods.  She is on staff with Central Michigan University and teaches an annual weekend course to Physical Therapy students.  Kristin is very involved in the recreational sports community, participating in multiple running, cross-country skiing, and mountain biking events and volunteering in many community events. Kristin resides in Marquette with her family.

Cameron was born and raised in southern Missouri and graduated with a Doctor of Physical Therapy from Missouri State University in 2015.  Cameron and his wife could think of no better place to raise a family than the UP and have been in Marquette since 2020.  Cameron has had the opportunity to work in many different settings in his physical therapy career.  He has focused much of his career in geriatric PT settings including in outpatient offices, rehab, and long-term facilities, and in home health.  Cameron’s experience and passion are for all things PT, but he has extensive experience working with post-stroke, spine injury, and other neurological impairments.  Cameron envisions providing therapy through Innovative Therapy as an opportunity to have a true therapeutic partnership with clients that is not interfered with by outside sources.  Cameron and his family live in Marquette.

Vivian received her degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of Illinois in Chicago and has over 30 years of experience in the field.  She has worked in a variety of settings including hospital inpatient, outpatient, home care, and more.  Her many years of experience have provided her with a well-rounded set of skills, and she envisions her work with Innovative Therapy as a great way to help patients whose care is being penalized by the limitations of insurance or profit-focused providers.  Vivian is well-regarded by the medical community for her work with visual perceptual dysfunction, shoulder injuries, and post-surgical rehabilitation.  She carries NDT certification in Adult Hemiplegia, serial casting, and tone management of the upper extremity.    She also has a keen interest in working with people who are recovering from a traumatic brain injury (TBI), stroke, or other neurological impairments having provided years of service in the Marquette hospital rehabilitation unit prior to moving into home care.  Very patient-focused and passionate, Vivian will give all she can to see her patients improve to their maximum potential.  Vivian is an outdoor enthusiast, who enjoys gardening, yoga, and weightlifting.  She currently resides in beautiful Au Train.

In addition, Jordan has more than a decade of experience in manual therapy as a licensed massage therapist. She has worked in various settings as a massage therapist where she gained experience with different modalities and had the benefit of learning from other skilled therapists.  Therapy and therapeutic massage can be provided in the home setting.  Outside of work, Jordan enjoys spending quality time with family and friends, running for her personal fitness, and working in her flower gardens.
